Questions we get asked
What do you need from us to size an ETP?
A current effluent analysis (BOD, COD, TSS, TDS, pH, oil & grease, and any metals or specific contaminants), the daily flow in KLD, the shift pattern, and the discharge or reuse target you have to meet. Where an analysis is not available we can arrange treatability studies.
Can an existing ETP be upgraded instead of replaced?
Usually, yes. Capacity enhancement, technology retrofits such as adding MBBR media to an existing aeration tank, tertiary polishing, and ZLD retrofits are all routine work for us.
Which technology is right for our effluent?
It follows from the load and the footprint available. MBBR and SBR suit variable loads and limited space; MBR is used where reuse-quality output is needed; conventional ASP remains cost-effective at steady high volumes. We recommend after seeing the analysis.
