Questions we get asked
Simplex or duplex?
Simplex is fine where a short interruption during regeneration is acceptable. Duplex — one vessel in service while the other regenerates — is the right choice for continuous processes and boiler feed.
Does a softener reduce TDS?
No. It exchanges calcium and magnesium for sodium, so hardness drops but total dissolved solids stay broadly the same. Where TDS must come down, RO or demineralization is the answer.
