Questions we get asked
What feed water information do you need?
A full water analysis — TDS, hardness, alkalinity, chlorides, silica, iron, turbidity and SDI where available — plus the required permeate quality and flow. Pretreatment is designed from that analysis; it is the single biggest factor in membrane life.
What recovery can we expect?
It depends on feed chemistry and whether antiscalant or softening is used upstream. We state expected recovery and reject volume in the technical proposal rather than quoting a headline figure that may not hold on your water.
Can we get water below 1 µS/cm?
Yes — with mixed bed or EDI polishing downstream of the RO. For high-pressure boilers and laboratory use, that combination is the usual specification.
